We're adding a lighter first step in front of the visa. Same track, less work, and it can grow into a full visa application.
Two different things that share one student: an assessment is its own object with its own (much lighter) rules — it never triggers the visa machinery. When it goes well, it hands its data over to create a real visa application, so nobody re-types anything. One login, both visible.
A "Stage 0" in the student's journey — but technically its own object with its own light rules. Stages 1–3 (the visa machinery) are untouched; Stage 0 just hands its data forward when the student is ready.
A light portal for a new object: the “assessment.” Not a visa application — its own thing. Built so a positive one can hand its data over to create a full visa application later.
A new “Assessments” section, separate from Visas: agencies invite students to be assessed. If it goes well → “Do the visa” creates the visa, pre-filled. A previous step in the journey — not in the visa machinery.
The automatic risk assessment. Scores the assessment the moment it's submitted → strength band + reasons. This is the brain that makes the whole thing valuable.
The school role: runs assessments, invites its agencies (what the prototype shows), and can also do visas for its own students. Built after the pieces above work.
